I didn't want to read this because I figure there'd be Fargo talk. Just watched the finally. Guess it got about as much talk as it deserved.

I just watched it. Forgettable stuff.

the bear trap thing was kinda cool I guess. If thats what it was. Lester falling into lake, not bad. But yeah, no attempt to redeem, explain or even address important issues such as Lester's empowerment, killers motivations, brothers situation etc.

Basically everything interesting that was hinted at through a barrage of violence and nonsense all for not. typical

Balderdash is what it was. The whole series. I could write a novella length criticism of it - however I watched the whole thing and didn't really consider bailing so there's that.

Overall rating? Mmmm, guess I gotta say, like, 5.7 out of 10?

It started at 9 for me, quickly dropped to 6ish and ended around 5.

like the fish out of the sky etc...
the whole waste of a storyline with the King
Gus running into Malvo repeatedly accidentally

For me it was Malvo shooting up the building full of gangsters.

Fish out of sky instant here, despised it in Vanilla Sky and in this as well. Just pointless.

There was way too much stuff crammed into Fargo. It's almost as if the writers were initially told they had 2 seasons to work with, then they were forced to wrap things up in 1. The Supermarket King side plot was completely unnecessary. Gus The Wuss was also overused considering the overall length of the series.

And killing Lester instead of having him face the music was a big letdown.

Show coulda been so much better, it's a shame.

Where I am in GoT, King Joffrey just got killed off. Pretty impossible to feel bad about that.

They use a bit of a professional rassling formula, don't they? Good guys/bad guys. Only in some cases I guess. There are some characters living in gray areas. Whatever.

Whenever someone dies I always want to express it as a temporary thing. Like, King Joffrey is dead - for now. I keep expecting at some point someone will come back from the dead. Seems inevitable to me.

I was typing that as a bit of a prediction and I just realized ---> it has already happened. That one dude from the Bannerless Brotherhood (or whatever) came back a bunch of times. I expect we will see more of it. Someone more important will surprise us by suddenly being alive again. Is my prediction.

I was always amused when Malvo felt the need to move bodies (often a very short distance) after a murder.

Like, yup got rid of ALL the evidence and I'm good to go!

I enjoyed the show overall. Finale was a hugh letdown.

Also about Game of Thrones, it seems pretty clear I am supposed to like Samwell.

Fargo was disappointing. Agree with everything that has been said. Can't add much. You guys nailed it. Still watched the whole thing so whatever I guess it was entertaining enough despite it's flaws. 6.5/10

Game of Thrones Season 4: 9/10 Show just keeps getting better and better, basically the opposite of Mad Men.
