Yeah there's no smart witty dialogue anymore

Shit I couldn't even tell you what Pete or Roger's best line from the last episode was.

Oh maybe that's because they didn't really have any

I don't see that many plot twists...

Cutting off a nipple and a threesome is done for effect because these writers are lost

I have Mad Men about a 6.5 / 10 show this season. It's been in that neighbourhood for quite awhile. That's not bad on the surface but it is a disappointment from what it once was. Season 1 was like a 9.5 for me.

I'm sure I have said this before.

They just don't have ethereal threads and connectors any more. It's just this happened, then this happened, then this happened . . .

Some of the happenings are thought-provoking, but then some are repetitive and some make me shrug.

But I'm not close to bailing or anything. Production values are good. It's decent.

What does it cost to see a movie these days? I saw Nebraska today but it was a matinee at the cheap theater...cost $3.00 I think...

Fucking awesome movie btw....I know I'm late to the party on that one, but if anyone else saw it, interested in their opinion...I tried to do the search option in this thread but got nowhere.

Still love Louie. That poker game conversation had me in stitches as did the whole Seinfeld thing.

Californication continues to be so ho hum this year. We still have all of the ridiculous things happening but it's just not that funny anymore. His son and Runkle's crazy accomplice just haven't really carried their weight, imo.

Very pleased with the latest episode of Silicon Valley actually, easily the best episode so far and starting to feel like one to look forward to.

Sounds like you just tuned out. There's been plenty of great dialogue this season.

Lou - I think Peggy is the right choice.
Pete - Well, I'm glad all agree the client is going to love having a woman's point of view - or whatever Peggy counts as  - but is Don not even on the list?
Roger - I was thinking the same thing. He's spent three weeks alone in that cave, and he hasn't clubbed another ape yet.
Jim - High praise indeed.
