Sounds like you just tuned out. There's been plenty of great dialogue this season.

Lou - I think Peggy is the right choice.
Pete - Well, I'm glad all agree the client is going to love having a woman's point of view - or whatever Peggy counts as  - but is Don not even on the list?
Roger - I was thinking the same thing. He's spent three weeks alone in that cave, and he hasn't clubbed another ape yet.
Jim - High praise indeed.

:biglaugh:

I remember that

But, it's certainly less regular

Show is a shell of it's former self

And I'll be the first one to voice my approval if it returns to greatness, but since it's been 5 years or so I have my doubts

I LOLed when I realized that getting the computer meant moving a whole bunch of people. Oh right, these things used to take up a whole room.

45 years later, the iPhone in your hand is about a million times more powerful.

IBM 360 - 0.0018 to 0.034 MIPS
iPhone 5S - 18,200 MIPS

So far for the 3 man final of The Jeopardy Battle of the Decades, we've got Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, the best two players of all time. That ain't bad. I'd still like to see Roger Craig earn the third spot tomorrow, although I don't think he could win against those two guys.

It's awesome for a Jeopardy nerd though. It's something Jeopardy can do that sports can't, matching up players from different eras. It's like having Michael Jordan against Lebron James.

Third semi is tomorrow then 2-game final, Thursday and Friday.

I wonder what people thought of the latest Fargo.

I liked it and thought it was the best episode since the 1st. I like that they were more focused on telling the story rather than shtick and absurdity. Relatively. The police chief stopped being so impossibly stupid. That is what I want from the show - the more sublime approach - although I may be in the minority.

There has been some uncertainty about the number of episodes. Looks like it is going to be 10. Wiki just shows 9 but imdb does have a date for episode 10 and shows several characters as being in 10 episodes.

I see last night's episode was entitled The Six Ungraspables. :dunno:

Really looking forward to new Fargo.

Louie really annoyed me with episode 3. Sure give the fat girl 2 minutes to rant about how bad her life is NOT 10. Shit just wouldn't end. What the fuck. Episode 4 with the trouble with the girls meh not that funny again. HUGH drop off from episodes 1 and 2 imo. Luie - you're a comedian and you write comedy, don't forget that.
