Actually I lied. I forgot about Jeopardy and The Daily Show which I skim through with dinner Tues-Fri. Add another 2 hours to my weekly TV viewing.

But basically, I have TV shows to watch on Sunday-Monday but not the other 5 days. And I like to have something to watch for the last hour or two before bed. Obviously there are movies but anyway, time for Game of Thrones. I haven't gotten my 75% of bandwidth warning for the month yet so I should be okay for downloading RIGHT NOW!

I would like to note that one of my early season Shameless predictions got a lot closer to coming true this week. I said Lip would end up boinking his roommate's girl whom, at the time, was treating him like dogshit. She sure got a whole lot chummier alluva sudden.

Standing by my other prediction of Steve/Jimmy showing up. Nothing to indicate it within the show but I ain't backing off.

:greencheck: :greencheck:

Predicting TV shows and guesstimating jelly beans in a jar - it is my place in the world.

Alright Shameless finale:

Lip's girlfriend is ata, love it. The diner scene was kind of interesting. Lip's movin on up. Sucked to see the little one get his heart ripped out I wanted him and that girl to keep rollin along I like their antics. The younger daughter continues to be annoying and Fiona I've pretty stopped caring about except that I hope Steve/Jimmy/Jack is there to dispose of her and does so, I was hoping she'd get the broomstick in prison. I thought that the bipolar thing for the one kid was dumb, total exaggeration. Frank the tank is funny I guess, the $500 casino voucher compensation for caring for the kids was probably the funniest part of the episode. Good season.

It's up there. I couldn't rank or compare these shows, they're just too different. But Game of Thrones is way above the threshold of what I like to call smart TV.

Good TV can be a lot of things, but smart TV needs to reach a certain level of acting, writing, and cinematographic excellence. GoT checks all the boxes with ease.

A well-reviewed and fairly highly rated superhero movie that I do not anticipate ever seeing:

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Not just because it's 2 hours, 16 minutes - which is ridiculous for a superhero movie - should be 90 minutes - period - not just because it's Captain America which, I'm sorry, is a pretty ralfable concept.

But I think it's superhero movies (do not call them films) in general. It has gone too far. Everyone just needs to CALM DOWN.

 on all points. I still feel victimized by the 1st Capt. America (which I saw in a theater for reasons I still can't explain :dunno:)
