I'm back at on the precipice with Girls. It's not unusual for a show to have one major joke that is repeated over and over and over, but at least produce an actual laugh with it once in a while. I got more laughs per capita out of True Detective and I ain't lyin'.

the last few episodes weren't the strongest imo. Really think Adam is a great character and an excellent actor.

I just finished S2 of Girls and thought it was outstanding

S3 not starting off hot though through 2 episodes

Ok we did try Girls episode 1 again and again it annoyed us.

I guess the question is how do you Girls fans compare S1 Ep 1 with your overall opinion of the show? Right now our standpoint is we're not doing it again but we're extremely cool and empathetic people so we're willing to listen and seek to undertstand.

I'd say you have to give it 3 to 4 episodes

She just seemed like a fucking douchebag to us which normally we like. There was some decent banter but nothing that made us laugh too hard. I guess we're selective about our fucking douchebags. man.

This from a girl who can sit through Hannah Montana. It wasn't THAT bad and your opinion is hereby invalid in this case.

Ok, for your information, the only reason I ever sat through an episode of Hanna Montana is because it was my daughters favorite show and she always liked me to watch it with her. I never claimed to like it or say it was any good.
So you can take your little theory, and shove it where the sun don't shine, pal.
