I have no problem relating :dunno:
A person doesn't have to be like the character to find valuable the issues they deal with. Particularly if those issues are dealt with genuinely and creatively.

Love Marnie in that Bicycle t-shirt. Ray gonna make a good woman out of her

Totally agree. I guess I'm just surprised to see TV that feels so close to me.

lol @ Ray and Marnie fokking like bored married people.

I too am surprised how pleasant I feel viewing the show. Can't think of a show that ever gave me a similar vibe.
And it doesn't seem like Lena Dunham is doing anything spectacular. Feels like anybody in the industry with a bit of talent should be able to make quality shows like this. On one hand she appears kind of unimpressive.

My level of being impressed with True Detective is sinking. I still consider it a good show but not at the level of promise I thought after ep. 1 where it was feeling like an all-timer

A lot of what happened in this weekend's episode just felt like contrived filler to me. Busywork.

Kinda like they have actual relevant material for a 4 part mini-series but are stretching it to 8 hours.

I seem to be in the minority in that view.

Orange is the New Black (Season 1, 2013) - Not bad. Not as edgy as it thinks it is - in many ways it is very conventional TV, but the acting is solid, especially among the inmates. The guy who played Nick Sobotka in The Wire is pretty terrible though.

7.6 Matty Rains

I have a thing for Judy Greer. I have an attraction and affinity which goes above and beyond a logical reaction to her work and natural beauty. I mean, yes, she is a pretty good actress and yes, I think most people would consider her cute - but it is more than that for me.

It is a thing.

I guess at this point I need to post a pic - which I will - although she is definitely one of those people who loses something in the transition between motion and still pictures. But a pic is clearly called for so here:

That is all.
