Went looking for the movie Her and got about 100 pages of porn.

The release date on imdb says Jan. 10th. I thought it was out already. I saw reviews a few weeks ago. Those usually happen right before the release.

Fokked if I know what's going on.

BS move they pull sometimes - in "very select theaters" now and being released everywhere 1.10.

Girls Gone Wild - Horny School Girls. Good scenery, they just talk to fucking much. 5 slices.

Don Jon was NOT at all what I was expecting. I mean the actors were all wonderful, I love all three actors and their work, they did good. They did great. The movie itself though, IMO, was crap. Just some long drawn out story about a porn addict. What got me was how they tried to make his pron addiction sound soo serious and dangerous and in the mean time your just sitting there like....yeah....sooo....in fact, maybe even on the verge of creepy. 5.75 baconbites.

Prisoners was awesome. I loved it. I felt like some of the story line was slightly predictable, but all in all a great suspense. When it first started I didn't think I would like it, seemed lame, but it picked up and the plot thickened. Obviously the audience puts together the pieces quicker then the people in the movie, but over all it was a good flick. 7.8 baconbits.

I had to watch Spring Breakers after it made the top ten list of my favorite critic. I remember being extremely turned off by the trailer. I still don't know exactly what I think about it, but I'll admit that it had a lot more going on than I would have expected. And an impressive performance by James Franco. I might watch it again.

Jenny invited me over for a movie tonight. She was reading stuff available ON DEMAND and she said Francis Ha. I said yes I want to watch that. That's my choice.

After some talking over of what it is, I was denied. I was mistaken to think I had a choice and there was some purpose to reading me endless lists of movies from ON DEMAND.

We will be watching something else. 2 Guns or something I would guess. Possibly Elysium.

Some of our movie tastes overlap - but sometimes no.

Nope not a tall, lasted maybe 20 minutes. Just two annoying girls chatting on and on about shit I don't give a fuck about. If I wanted that, I would call up my own friends and listen to them. I will give it another try, but I don't see it working out for me.

Prisoners looks excellent. I remember seeing the trailer for it and thinking "wow, that looks like it'd be really good". About that time, my wife said "I don't think that looks like a movie I'd ever want to see" (I think it's the "children in peril" thing Muddy mentioned). Well, shit. Guess I'm watching that one by myself once it's out on video.

I think people just approach the role of films in different ways. Some of the best films are deeply disturbing - necessarily so. I thought Requiem for a Dream was outstanding. But I didn't enjoy it, per se. It was intended to make you feel like shit, and it was successful in doing so.
