Preferring something, perhaps, of this vintage?

Chris or James spader? I like James new buzzed haircut.

Chris is not balding at all. He looks younger than he is. I like that. I'm not usually attracted to bald or balding men. I like when men, when they start to go bald, buzz their hair. But yeah, I prefer a head of hair a la Mr. spader in the above pic.

I'm kind of turned on now!

I'm on an airplane (with wifi) flying to NYC for a long weekend. I wish I was home in bed so I could look at that pic and imagine James spader and me. Le sigh. I need to get laid (which I will on Monday when I see Chris)

Wasn't this thread about tv and movies?

Both.

Wow, you have some weird preferences and are definitely in the minority. Most broads I nkow love bald/ing men.

Bald men have testosterone off the chart! Can't keep our dicks soft if our lives depended on it.

So I went and saw Gravity. No particular motion sickness problems while watching. There were a couple times I looked away - literally, a couple - but other than that, no problem.

However I felt kind a queasy driving home and still do a bit.

:fok:

Anyway, it was something to see I guess.

I had one big problem with it. It had to do with physics. I understand too much of the physics of the situation and a huge part of the premise was beyond absurd. In terms of suspension of disbelief, it was the equivalent of having about 10 guys standing toe-to-toe firing guns at each other for 10 minutes and no one can hit anything.

I wish I could just shrug it off when movies do stuff like that - and I do the best I can - but it does negatively affect my experience.

Now to most people, the problem I had would not be nearly as obvious as the gun-shooting example I used. In fact I would guess to a lot of people (most?), what I saw as a huge ongoing eyeroll would be accepted unquestioned. Probably nothing to worry about. But that's me and I'm just blabbing about my perception.

Otherwise the movie was pretty entertaining. Harrowing 'n shit. The technical stuff is extraordinary. Sandra Bullock did a very good job.

They kept the story-telling simple - wisely so, IMO. There were a couple Hollywoodish turns I could have done without.

For a rating I'm right around a 7 out of 10.
