The Newsroom is still hanging by a thread for me. There is clearly some intelligence behind it but the characters and dialogue can be so grating.

im enjoying it, but yeah, ever episode i get a little sicker of some characters...

im a little upset that Hell on Wheels is going to premier and play on Saturday nights this season... amc has a new show coming out called Low Winter Sun that will take its Sunday spot... solid cast, looks worthy

Trouble With The Curve (2012) - One of the worst endings for a movie in recent history for me. Offensively bad. It's a movie about baseball that knows nothing about baseball and they were so determined to tie everything up in neat little people-pleasing bows at the cost of all sense, it made me want to barf.

It was not actually a terrible movie most of the way through. It wasn't great - there was clumsiness and cliche all along - I knew early on I wasn't viewing an all-time classic. But it had a basic tolerability. I like some of the stars well enough. I figured it would be yer basic formulaic, 6.7 out of 10 kind of affair.

But omygawd that ending.

4.9 out of 10.

Muddy, have you noticed they keep trying to make these a,t,a movies with a starcladed cast, and you think, well with all those people it's got to be great! and then you watch it, and you're like....well that sucked. wtf??
That is happening a lot. I've noticed.
