I lasted 4 episodes with Dexter. God bless those of you who made it 7 seasons.

I just had a dream where planes and satellites were falling out of the sky as I was driving. I was frantically trying to call my kids to talk to them one last time.

I hardly ever have dreams because of my apnea.

The Secret in their Eyes (Argentina) - A tiny detail in a photo, the eyes, give a detective a clue as to who is the killer in a brutal rape and murder. Dictatorship era bureaucracies makes the case go cold and justice a joke. 25 years on and it's still an unfinshed story for the detective by the way it affected his life, so he sets out to write it down and look for an ending. Very well done story, I like how they show the traumatization of losing a love one and the manias that come of it as being acts of pure love. 8.5 Matty Rains

This. Liked it a lot.

Thoroughly enjoyed rewatching Season 1 of Sopranos. So many gratifying moments, loved seeing Junior's right hand man bite it in the mud puddle in the finale, guy was such a prick. It took us a week to get through season 1. Truly a show that stands the test of time.

Started rewatching Sopranos from the beginning too. Only through 3 episodes. Highlight was Paulie complaining that everyone's getting rich off Italian coffee. :italia:

Black kid who drops his gun and accidentally kills the truck driver in Ep 2 is Bodie from The Wire.

One thing that had slipped my mind over the years: that I dislike Carmella quite a bit. In my memory she had faded into a more benign, sympathetic character but no, I dislike her quite a bit.

Not that I don't intellectually see room for some sympathy but I feel what I feel.

I detest Janice of course. That has not changed.

Seasons 4 and 5 are less familiar. Very good but less familiar.

Like if someone said, "Hey remember Patty D'Arbanvilles character? Or remember when David Strathairn showed up?"

I would have said, "No."

Even if they said, "Remember the Robert Loggia arc, which was not insignificant?"

I would have said, "Ehh, maybe, vaguely, but I couldn't tell you what happened."

But now I remember.

It's good. Not as good as the first couple seasons but still good.

I know where things are going with Adriana. That I will not forget.
