Yeah, after his departure here he basically became heavily involved with a moto/racing forum, has multiple bikes, and goes to the track all the time.

He just moved to Princeton, NJ.

Yeah, that's all we have in the city here. I wish there was a proper shop that sold something else than retro/faux-vintage hipster bullcrap.

I say try the Bell Arrow & Vortex at that Union Garage shop.

I sure love modular helmets. I'd recommend at least trying a couple.

The full-face chin-protection flips up easily with one hand. It's very nice for getting some extra air at stop lights, talking to your passenger easily, filling up with gas, etc.

My bike needs 4-5 attempts before it'll start after sitting in the cold all day. Inevitably someone comes over to offer a boost, and patronizing advice.

Patronizing asshole #1 - Need a boost?
Me - Nah I'm good. Battery just needs to warm up. It'll start in a couple minutes.
Patronizing asshole #1 - I think it's telling you to put it away for the winter.
Me - No it's not.

Patronizing asshole #2 - You're going to flood it.
Me - No, the battery just needs to warm up. I crank it once a minute 'til it starts.
Patronizing asshole #2 - Have you tried using wide open throttle with the choke off?
Me - No need. Battery just needs to warm up.

Patronizing asshole #3 - Are you stuck?
Me - Just warming up my battery.
Patronizing asshole #3 - About time to store it for winter eh?
Me - No.
Patronizing asshole #3 - Want me to give you a push?
Me - I'm okay. Battery just needs to warm up.


I need a better battery.

I bought a cheap $50 Canadian Tire lead-acid battery is all.

Gonna replace it with one of them fancy AGM's.

More cold-cranking amps, blitty. You want lots of cold-cranking amps.
