Apparently Harmony is going to some place to throw axes this weekend. There is a place you can book to do that as a recreational activity. You throw axes - and apparently you can bring your own beer.

That's another demonstration of the difference between Americans and Canadians. Americans drink beer and shoot AK47's.

Canadians throw axes.

My boss has titanium plates and screws in all four limbs after a catastrophic 100ft fall off a cliff over a decade ago. Since then he's been walking to work every day to keep his articulations moving and whatnot.

Including today in -20C/-4F weather.

Guy lives over 5 kilometers/3 miles away.

He's fokkin' RoboCop.

Me - Why are you wearing your watch on your right wrist?
Him - It won't fit on my left wrist today.
*shows a huge bulge on his left wrist*
Me - WTF, is a screw coming out or something?
Him - Yeah.
Me - Are you gonna do something about it?
Him - Maybe I should.

Can you read upside down? I can read upside down.

Not really a work topic but then again neither is throwing axes. They both came up today at work so here we are.

A lot of people can't read upside down. Most?

It's not something I ever made an effort to learn. I can just do it. Actually it seems weird to me that some people can't and I want to say, "Dude, just look at it. It's English. Just read it."

Fair to say I would read a bit slower than right-side up but not by a huge margin.

:dunno:

Can you read upside-down?

I bet he has good meds.

Sadcat, we think you have meds on the brain too much.

We read Matty's post and meds never entered our minds.

Open the trash can, throw all the meds in the trash can, excercise vigorously (more so for the mind than the body) and eat clean foods.

Meds ---------> no longer needed.

I'm over simplifying it some but, yeah, do it.
