Funny little flies. Not like there are huge swarms of them either. Usually there will be one around. One time in 9 there will be two.

Can't recall ever seeing more than two. Cute little guys really. Almost like little cartoon characters, these flies.

Wouldn't it be funny if they ended up being extremely deadly and we all died from them.
 
Is that a serious question? I have use an outhouse 10 billion times.

I grew up a major camper. All about the camping, growing up. I'm 50 years old. My childhood is not a recent thing and there were plenny outhouses around back then.

That's why it's so weird to me that there would be a fly I haven't encountered. I have crossed paths with every kind of pest this part of the world has to offer. Every creepy crawly. Indoor/outdoor. At least I would have thought so.

I know the first thing I will say to Harmony tomorrow morning. There is a standard, superficial way to judge the state of her department: by the amount of unopened packages sitting in one particular bunch of shelves. It is not an unreasonable metric. And she will walk in after her 2 weeks off and see those shelves and no doubt be quite surprised at how little there is there.

The first thing I will say will be: it's worse than it looks.
