I asked this question elsewhere and one of the responses was that this person only bought the hook on whole numbers like 3, 7 10. Initially I thought that a bad idea because I was looking at a push as not losing. The more I thought about it though I am gonna land on 3,7 and 10 more often than not which makes a potential push become a win.

I wonder what insight you could get into this topic by checking how much your book wants for the hook on 3, 7 & 10, and then comparing the hit on your ROI to the push rate on those numbers.

If only you had access to something like a half-point calculator, you would find these push rates. Damn shame.
