Cougs, if you walk into oncoming traffic and get hit by a car you are the one responsible for whatever happens. This young man approached an oncoming car driving caution speed (30 to 40 mph per the sheriff's department) in a corner of a racetrack where there was very little room for the car to take defensive measures. There were other cars around. This kind of racing also doesn't have spotters like they use in the "big leagues" nor was it as well lit. These cars rear ends wiggle around the corners any way. Pretty much every one of them while they are running.

In the moments before the wreck, you can see where Stewart has the inside position on the track and the other guy's car get lose. Apparently he had a tire go down as well. Stewart has gotten out of his car after being wrecked and threw his helmet at the guy who hit him before. BUT....(and its a big one) he was on pit road (a straight road that is well lit with no banking) and there weren't other cars. Also he NASCAR officials were right on the spot to grab him back.

Sterling Martin got into Dale Sr and caused the wreck that killed him. Shouldn't he have been charged? smh at you all

Plommy, my boobies say hello there!!!

Nina -why are nascar drivers racing at dirt-track events the night before their big race? No other sport would allow that. Obviously he is a much more skilled driver and has far more to lose than the others there. If I'm one of his sponsors, I'm not letting him drive in any non-NASCAR event.

I do agree with House and Tron. The kid was a dumbass for walking on the track, also believe Stewart tried to buzz him, not hit him.

So let me get this straight Tony Stewart is absolved of any and all responsibility here?

I 100% agree the kid was a tard for doing what he did.

I do think that more effort could have been taken to avoid him.

Let's say TS rolls his vehicle avoiding him and gets hurt, how does that look? I wonder if Peyton manning plays in 7 on 7 games the day before playing NE? There was nothing for TS to gain by racing here.

I'm amazed that people are able to come to all sorts of conclusions based on a shitty video where Stewart's car enters the frame a split second before the kid gets hit.

Wait no, I'm not amazed, y'all are filling the blanks with whatever you want to see.

Common. Y'all are being 'tards.

Matty I kinda sort of agree but want to still act 'tarded

So apparently Stewart said after a previous altercation with Ward that if he got the chance again he would run him over?

:lmao:

That's not good.

This is a dangerously sane post. Next you will be saying that neither cats nor dogs are better and it is a matter of taste/opinion.

Continue down this path and the internet will cease to exist.

I'm waiting for Matty to really go wild and say that music is ridiculously subjective and that different people have different tastes in music and that singling out certain songs and pointing out how dumb they are is rather silly.

Poop.
