Used to have a sams card...didnt really see alot of savings.

Cosco...eh....seems like a big machine I dont want to feed.

Buying mustard and a big screen tv under the same roof...I dont feel like I am doing right for American business.

I also hate walmart. I got it down pretty well. Everything goes on sale once a month. The 3 packages of bacon I bought for 4.79 yesterday will get me until the next time its 4.79 again.

Costco is employee-owned.

We have a couple poor people grocery stores in Altoona, I only ever went to one, it was Save Alot I think. I went there to see if they had just plane soda water for a cocktail I was making because it was right next to the liquor store. Never was in one before. Looked like a warehouse. Never tried any food from there before, so who knows how it tastes.

I used to deal with Save-A-Lot and most of the things that are made for national labels are made for SAL and Aldi's.

Yeah we bake, good every time Monk. Takes longer to get crispy but big payoff!

We might have to try it! Just need to be a little more patient! The frying is a time consuming clean up mess! Plus I think the oil residue on the wings is killing my stomach as I get older! The last few years I have the must take Tums feeling after eating them! That's it, baking it next time!

Save alot just opened in my neighborhood few years ago...it is a poor people store. Ill pop in twice a month... see whats on sale or get some generic beans or canned tomatos when making chilli or something. Lot of stuff i wont buy there...but cheap paper plates or water or whatever. Its a "centrella store" so they got some stuff. Bought some thick ol pork chops....they were good.

I've had anything from the save a lot. Sounds like it might not be too bad. Regular grocery stores can be expensive, so I guess it's good to have some where the poor people, especially those with larger families, can afford.

Yeah I went in the one by the liquor store on a solo run, Cami wasn't there, I was pretty ripped and had to pee real bad. I go in the back and what must have been an 80 year old cashier is on her knees blowing what looked like a 60 year old stock person (I guess). The both looked at me and I was like I was just looking for the bathroom, they both put their clothes back on and started chasing after me, I ran through the meat department throwing packages of meat at them then down the pasta aisle knocking everything I could off the shelves into their way. One of them slipped on the tomato sauce, the other got slowed up and the cart boy tried to block me at the end up the aisle. I slid underneath him and the manager was at the front door, I said cleanup in aisle 8 as I shoved him out of the way. A few of them chased me outside so I made a lap around the building and around some houses, they eventually got lost and confused and got back to work. Luckily I had parked closer to the liquor store so I took my shirt off so they couldn't recognize me, got into my car and drove home. I don't think I'll be back.
