Well it always comes thru as one transaction. May take a day or two..never had it take a week...anyway...the only reason I even noticed it is, like I said that I told her to add $3.00 to make it even $15 and she couldn't.


Also $12 is expensive here for lunch time Chinese food. She will take the 6 day late tip and like it. Maybe I'll go there tomorrow and stiff her and we'll be even.

And then Some places have to run it for the purchase price only, then the customer fills in the tip and signs it, which it then gets added later. Perhaps that is how they have to run it. If that is the case, then no, it is not her fault.

Yeah I was kidding about it being her fault. That is how they had to do it.

So two different amounts would come out of the account or be charged to their card? I have never had that happen ever. Weird.

I don't think you get what I am saying. There are not two separate transactions that show, even when it's pending, it is just the purchase price. Mine will show the purchase amount immediately (the authorization) and then the full amount pulls a few days later, but I have never had two separate items come thru (purchase and tip) I think you mean there are two diff amounts pulled..the pending and the final one. I just meant they were not broken down (either pending or final.) I don't think I was clear.

The way I read Casper's post was that the purchase amount goes thru your account (final not pending) and then the tip amount comes thru a week later. Maybe that is not what he meant, but that's how I read it.

And all this thread is now doing is making me want Chinese food again...which I did order again on Saturday night (delivery) And I don't eat the healthy kind...I get Kung Pao chicken ...did get the steamed rice at least.

Hahaha. You're on an egg roll tonight. No. No Chinese tonight. Maybe over the weekend. This place is literally the best I have ever had. Hands down. Friends have told me about it for 2 years but had never tried it. I previously had it in my head that I didn't want Chinese food in the summer. Bad call.
