No. I guess if I notice that something is on sale then I may stock up, but usually no. I don't read the grocery ads.

One time I saw a TV special on cutting coupons and these people who would combine with sales and get hundreds of dollars of groceries for next to nothing. I got all excited about trying that....lasted about a week. Pain in the ass..not worth the time..I just buy what I want/need. I don't even know prices of most things. I would do terrible on the Price is Right.
 
Since I'm in the wholesale part, yes for the most part. It must be something I like or have a use for though. I don't do the coupon thing but will stock up if it's a hot price. Bought 3 cases of powerade last week @ .69/unit.

Want to save more? Many items on sale have coupons in the Sunday papers, especially new products.

Yes, especially when it comes to flavored coffee creamer! We buy other needed items too though! FW, 69 cents is great! I stock up on 32oz Gatorade when it goes for 80 cents!

ShopRite starting Sunday has 32 oz Bailey's Coffee Creamer for only 2.49! Nice!
 
We can be though. Just yesterday I spotted a sale for wings for $6.99 pre made, a savings of $2.65. We bought them. For $6.99 we got about 9 wings when normally we get roughly 30 not premade for $11.99. so therefore:

6.99/9=77.7 cents per wing
11.99/30=40 cents per wing

Our homemade ones with just cayenne taste better too so I had the accomplishment of netting us a loss of approximately 37.7 cents per wing as well as vastly inferior taste. The premade means nothing.

Might not be sale shopping again anytime soon.
 
Bacon, if you bake them never mind, but we fry our wings to get them crispier! If you fry them, don't forget that oil ain't cheap and need a good amount of it!

I could go for some right now!

We shop for 6 people...We have too.

No coupons..not really sales ads...but if butter is 2.50-3.00 i buy 3 or 4.

When chips are 2 for 5...I buy a few....cuz nexr week it will be 4.29 a bag.


Most of all meat. Boneless chicken will be 2.29 one week and 4.79 the next.

So I buy multiple packs of chick, pork, steak when on sale.

When getting ice out of friends freezers for mixed drinks, I find myself peering at what they are paying for meat.

I saw 5.79 a lb for chicken once... I remember having trouble processing that.

Spent 155 at the store yesterday...and that wont go too far.
 
Used to have a sams card...didnt really see alot of savings.

Cosco...eh....seems like a big machine I dont want to feed.

Buying mustard and a big screen tv under the same roof...I dont feel like I am doing right for American business.

I also hate walmart. I got it down pretty well. Everything goes on sale once a month. The 3 packages of bacon I bought for 4.79 yesterday will get me until the next time its 4.79 again.
