1st hearing was today.
so much for keeping it civil. LOL
judge sided with me. I keep custody and possesion of everything and her to pay me child support. He deemed her to unstable.

looks like she's going after 1/2 of everything I've busted my ass for the last 12 yrs.

she was all crazy?

Mikey, just a few wise words from someone who typed up all sorts of crap for divorces.

1. If anyone alleges any drug use, you want a hair follicle test done. Hair colors will screw with the results. If you need to nail her for this, you want hair from another part of the body.

2. Don't give her whatever just to get rid of her and get it over with. You will regret it later. Be fair to yourself as well.

3. Do you have some impartial friends just in case you need to request suspervised visits between her and the kids? If she is unstable, then you really might want to consider that until she gets on terra firma. Impartial friends really work better than family members due to their unbiased positions.

drug use was brought into it agaisnt my wishes... but I guess the lawyer knows whats best at this point

but I am no angel either, but I can cope with day to day life w/out drugs, alcohol.
I always put my kids before any partying where as she has been the opposite...

and I think a hair test on me would show yrs of chemicals. does it actually show in your hair for as long as its been growing?

the only thing I've offered her was the stuff she bought with the money she got when her dad died ( furniture, stove, dishwasher)
I'll just buy some new shit, no big deal unless she goes after what I've sacrificed to build a nestegg to fall back on in bad times.

no impartial friends anymore. a few yrs ago I put alot of so called friends out of my life due to the direction they were headed. really all I got is family now
all her friends are her partying buddies and I cant stand any of the coniving bitches she hangs out with.

but supposedly she claims her new meds are helping her, which she has been acting more normal lately since switching meds.
she has tried to reconcile with me the past week saying she now sees the wrong she was doing.
funny how when the shit hits the fan, she gets better and now wants to be a good mother

I have heard varying times on hair follicles. I think part of it depends on how long the hair is, how often it is cut, etc. I would think 6 to 9 months at least. But hair bleach = screwed results.
