After now being off of coffee for about 2 1/2 months, I feel way better than when I was hooked on it. I have more energy and do not need any caffeine at all now to get through the day... I still have 4-6 oz of coffee maybe once every two weeks.. just for pleasure not for energy.

@Cami; I used to think that I could not get through a day without caffeine...once it gets out of your system, it is pretty easy to do.

@ Muddy. Remember that you pay HST on all processed food items at grocery stores... Also, get a bicycle and ride to the grocery store...healthy, better for the environment and your wallet.

I only drink once a week so it's not like cutting it out would be a huge deal. After the New Years I took about 4 weekends off in a row. Coming into summer now party time is in full effect. Probably should tone it down just a bit though..blackouts are getting to be a regular occurrence..that and drinking till its light out.

I think it's weird that you only drink once a week yet blackouts are a regular occurrence. I'm not judging. It just sounds weird to me.

I drink 3-4 nights a week but never blackout or forget any events from the prior night.

With the beers and mixed drinks and shots usually a minimum of a 8 hour shift I would imagine I get into the 35 drink range.

I am from the school that there is no need to start the motor if you aren't gonna race 500 laps. Is it correct, no I am
Not saying that. I just have no interest in drinking alone or having the slightest hangover going into work.

Yes I have lived in this country for almost 52 years. The concept of taxes has been brought to my attention.

Not your sharpest posting there MrQ. If I was a real wiseass, I would say it sounds like you could use a coffee.
