I was talking to someone recently and they told me they were in Chicago and went to a Cubs game. It was like a Saturday afternoon and they just walked up to the wicket and bought some prime seats like a fucking movie or something. Considering how small that stadium is I couldn't believe howe freely tickets were available.

The Cubs actually own a ticket brokerage (scalping their own tickets). Chances are, those tickets came from there.

He's a full season ticket holder so they get first dibs. Obviously it's a freeroll by the team to bank the money for a month or two.

I would imagine very few single tickets will be available since the seating capacity is smaller at wrigley than at the old Pro Player Stadium. The media credentials wil take up many seats also.

Wow I did not know that. Yeah, that's a nice free roll for the ownership.
 
If I'm a Jays die hard I'm not in panic mode.

Yes, it's Cole Hammels.

But it's Cole Hammels on the road vs a big sample size proven offense.

Panic mode starts if they somehow lose Game 2.
