Typical non working Canadian living off the system. Enjoy that free heat and soft Nutella.

Pucky if I could confidently line up a place to live in Saskatchewan I'd be there right now, pal.
I no longer own a vehicle so just showing up in Regina without an address in winter isn't really a solid plan.

It's true I love sleeping in every day but I miss having a regular insanely hugh paycheque.

I seriously wonder/doubt if I will ever work in Ontario again.

I called about a job listed on kijiji, a temp 3 week gig driving from Windsor to the GM plant in Oshawa and back, employers market here and the list of requirements by the employer is lengthy, I much prefer the hiring process in western Canada, where its basically "when can you start"?

Yep thats right, the $40k job in Ontario comes with a long list of requirements and the employer asks why he should hire you.
$80k - $120k jobs in the same field in Saskatchewan (driving a truck) are unfilled and employers ask "why shouldn't I hire you".

I prefer the latter and am spoiled by it.

I miss Saskatchewan.

PS: The 3 week job has been filled already, and not by plommer.

Fuck Ontario.

You sound like pre-2010 Matty.

Faggot.

I was here pre-2010 and the province has changed - and not for the better.

If I could sort out the renting mess in Saskatchewan I wouldn't be in Ontario.

My life is much easier/stress free out west.
Well paying jobs are plentiful, no traffic congestion, lots of sunshine, friendly pleasant people/cities/towns.

Ontario is a great place to be unemployed, especially as a middle aged man in a union city like Windsor, I have lots of different support here.
