Clinics open for the next few hours :monster:

Durito, still waiting to hear some more guy. Can you tell me what your EF% is? Have you had an echo? If so how are the valves? Do you have a tricuspid or Bicuspid Aortic Valve? Durito, i need some answers here. I'm gonna get you feeling better, guaranteed :)

Durito I'm glad to hear it came back clean. I know its frustrating as shit knowing something ain't right but all the tests keep coming back normal. Just tell me some of what tests you've had done and the results. Also any lab tests, specifically liver. Anything run in your family? One of the most commonly missed diagnoses for shortness of breath is an A1A (alpha-1 antitrypsin) deficiency. I'll let you google that and read up on it. Anyways, still looking forward to reading your story.

Archie, gonna read through it and will comment in that thread. Clinic closes soon boyz. Thanks for visiting.

Just got back from the doctor.

It's strep throat.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee

2nd strep throat in 5 months.

Were @ the pharmacy dropping off the Rx

After taking Amoxicillin for 2.5 days, it became clear to me and my doctor that the strep was not responding.

So now we're on Levaquil which is stronger and more broadband evidently. We'll see. Night sweats have continued but fever is gone.

I'm getting really sick of this shit. :jello:

Daft I hope the Levaquin works. Sounds like you have a pencillinase producing strain of strep. No biggie. Lots of antibiotics can treat strep. Levaquin is a better choice anyways because so many strains of strep these days are resistant to penicllin. But if for some reason it doesn't work (some form of strep can be resistant to levaquin as well) ask for zithromax (zpack). It really is a kick ass antibiotic for anything in the lungs or throat.

Also, don't miss any doses of your levaquin or this strain can then become reisstant to it in the future. Gargle with warm salt water 3 times a day. Most strains (if not all, not sure) are considered gram positive. Gram positive organisms hate salty environments. So gargling with salty water actually helps.

Good luck hope you get feeling better.
