yes, Muse, can you rate Matty's whiskeys on their medicinal benefits?

Got it... Just read Matty/Jello's Bourbon thread at the advice of RJ.

No proven medicinal benefits from drinking hard liquor. Occasional RED whine in moderation but I say fokk medicine and their studies. Like not drinking whiskey is the key to living forever. Honestly though alcoholics have it pretty bad in the end. They get liver failure and esophageal varices pretty badly. Their skin and eyes turn yellow from the jaundice and they begin bleeding from the esophagus secondary to the varices. It ain't pretty when they go. Especially if they're confined to a hospital bed going through withdrawals because the hospital isn't going to be pouring Makers Mark down his throat (although I think they should.) My only suggestion for Matty if he really does drink a lot of whiskey is to at least get his liver enzymes checked yearly. Quick blood test.

However my first thought after reading partially through the thread is that it's very well organized and informative. Matty, if not already, should be lauded for such an effort. I will actually now go try his top 3. Thanks for the tips Matty :hatsoff:

Thanks Rogue! How is your health? :)

Muse I have problems with my ears. About once a year usually I get some type of infection with lots of pain, so much so that it puts me in bed for a couple of days. Acute constant pain that feel like I'm being drilled, like lighting strikes each time the ears pop. It radiates from one ear to the other. It can occure more than once a year, for example in the last one it happened three times.

It's usually triggered for example I when leave my head wet after a shower in consecutive days or when I get caught in heavy rain and can't dry out right away.

This started some years back, in 2006 I travelled through a lot of third world countries and before that I spent some time in brazil where I used to go frequently to "wilder" cities like Cuiaba. Staying in lots of not so fancy places. Ever since it has happened. When I got to the States I went to a doc who basically said I was fine so now I just self medicate with antibiotics and it seems to work, sometimes not right away. I can't pinpoint exactly when it started and at first it wasn't that strong but it was after this time.

What do I have Muse? Do you think it's some Monster Inside Me type of stuff?

ps. I have EXCELLENT hearing, and the more I live with this I actually feel it improving. People are often surprised how I heard a phone ring locked in a car being far away, or a new car pulling up to the house when we are in the backyard, little details like that.

And another point, I usually know its coming by smelling the cue tips after I clean, I have learned the difference when its normal, when its ripe, when it's right on the verge, and when it will definitely hit before the pain starts, just by the smell.

Cure me Muse.

muse, he isnt kidding...i just mumbled something to myself and mentioned the word juror and the guy called me from 900miles away to see what the fuck i wanted so early in the morning... :dunno:

rj, keep the fucking qtips outta your ears...could be part of the problem...those bastards can cram wax deep and cause some nice infections...tell him, muse...telll him to stop!!!:choo:

If you ever read one of those q-tip packages it tells you how they're good for so many uses :dunno:except the only thing anyone uses them for. And then it warns you not to stick them in your ear.:lmao:

This thread is gonna open up a can of worms.

Muse, you still going to the protest pal?
