hmm. thats interesting. I was wondering if unabated line shopping can have such a large effect. Are guys even doing that?

When you put the best capping minds in North America to post in this thread you get miraculous results. I'm not surprised we are up 150 units. I thought that after a year of doing this we would be up much more. You got to remember this is a Best Bet thread and not your only bet for the day at your book. No one bets one game a day.

Which is why on more than one occasion I suggested we use the current 5Dimes (non-reduced) line for all plays posted in the Best Bet thread.

But no one wants to listen to a guy from the future.

My issue with that is that sbrodds doesn't display full-juice 5dimes lines. I'm lazy.

Also, it would become little more than a Beat 5dimes thread instead of a Best Bet thread. (I understand that the difference is lost on most people, who wouldn't hesitate to play their LOCK OF THE DAY at 15 cents worse than the best price available.)

But it's not like we're quoting Matchbook prices. They are real, available lines.
