If the US ties today and loses to Germany by 2 goals and Ghana beats Portugal by 2 goals then Ghana is in.

This is just one scenario.

Germany will want Ghana to advance so they can knock out teams that could be in their way down the road.

So the US will have to play for a win today. Over 2.5 is the play since Portugal not only needs a win but it needs to make up goal differential.

dogs have been doing great. It seems thats often the case in prelim round of WC. And the prices are big. Thats right in my wheelhouse :chickendance:
My feeling is Russia and US both lose today. :hides: Russia just looks blah as usual. (hopefully not)
US: Portugal too good technically for them
