RayRay, it's not the driver, it's the swing. My irons and hybrid I can manipulate and trap to maximize them although when the timing is off and out of bounds is left the strokes will pile up. With the driver though I have (and can't seem to change) a very flat swing which comes off low and while it gets maximum roll it has very little carry.

I added the ISwing app to my Droid and took some video the other day. OMG, I knew I was over the top but had no idea just how bad it was until I watch the video. If I manage to figure out how to get it from the phone to PhotoBucket I'll post. Once you see you'll be amazed I'm only an 11.

nah, i know a lot of guys who can just get it done... hit it nowhere, never get in trouble and make a lot of 10fts...you guys are painful to watch because you really know whats coming next...haha...i remember telling you about an old guy at my old club that would putt it from 25yds off the green...and his up/down rate was great...it was a mental disaster to watch that shit...

but something has to help...weaker shaft for higher launch, diff. loft... are you sure you have been everywhere you can and gotten yourself analyzed? edwin watts or something like that? you may not like it, but theres always a way to change ball flight and spin...i know you know all this though... still get 2nd opinions with diff. brands

I can't believe people care about golf

The all time most boring sport

NASCAR and WNBA is worse, but that's it

I don't play golf anymore but when I did I played 9 holes about 5 times a week and spent about 9 hours a week on the range.

I didn't find it to be the least bit boring.

IMO, other than hitting major league pitching, nothing is harder in sports than being an elite golfer.

why you quit daft

Left the golf business when Nicklaus came in to redesign the course where I worked. No golf course for 18 months meant lean times for me (and I was growing increasingly tired of having 400 bosses *the membership*) so I opted for a career change.

I went from playing golf for free (at my course and surrounding local courses), getting balls, gloves, clothing at cost to having to pay full price for everything because I was no longer in the business.

Went from being a guy who plays 45-55 holes a week to a guy who plays once every 2 years with his Dad.

In my mid-late 20's I was an assistant golf pro at a high end, old money country club.

I ran tournaments, taught junior clinics, helped run the pro shop (which is like working in a clothing store). We basically kissed members asses 24/7.

Got my start there in my late teens picking up balls on the driving range and cleaning golf carts.

I logged 10 years in that industry.

There is zero job security in that industry and head golf professional jobs are hard to come by (and hold on to).

So I bailed. It was a very smart move but I do miss playing 9 holes after work with the guys.

Agree. Isi t a sport that you can buy yourself a good game with all the advances in clubs? I never golfed.

Fok a lazy Saturday sitting around the house and not playing golf!

Fok 2 weeks of cheating (not bad but still cheating) on my diet!

Fok Durito for insinuating that there will be revelations about SBR in the future! We've had other pros make promises to deliver (P-Roid, MrX and MonkeyFocker) and fail in the past and it fok'n blows!

Where the FOK is Teela?
