dogs have replaced cigarettes as the biggest fucking nuisance in public places. fuckers are allowed everywhere now. yesterday at the bank. recently I accidentally stepped on one in a casino (luckily he didn't bite)
Every shithead now calls his dog " service dog" or whatever it is.

But the odd thing is in the way its presented. Totally the same thing that was used to encourage smoking. the rebel/ cool guy puffing away etc.. I just have a hard time reconciling how this is allowed under the anti smoking climate of today :dunno:

But the whole reason for the anti-smoking climate is because of the health effects of smoking tobacco. If you can have the buzz (and the addiction) without the cancer and emphysema, shouldn't it be tolerated?

I see people puffing away on those in public, and I've never seen a confrontation. I don't know why there would be. The vapor dissipates almost immediately. You can't smell it.

Maybe not. It's just that some people are so self-righteously indignant these days - so anxious to be offended - I could see someone picking up on the visual across a room or in an elevator or whatever, and just having a knee-jerk reaction and marching right up and expressing their, you know, umbrage.

Not that there would be a lot of marching room in an elevator.

I'd like to indignantly march across an elevator. Preferably the one from the movie Her.

That's a nice elevator. A guy could get mighty indignant in there.

nicotine addiction is the problem, certainly in my experience. You're basically now telling kids go ahead get addicted to nicotine its cool. I really don't know how much the health problems are caused by nicotine alone but I would guess its not negligible. And I don't think there are healthy ways of delivering it.

As you know I go through every kind of nicotine method and they all are bad. Personally the e-cig gives me more throat and chest discomfort than other methods.

I can smell my father in laws very distinct flavors

I don't mind them

unless we are in the same vehicle, then it gets to irritating my eyes after 15 mins or so
