I probably live closer to the beach than anybody here (1 mile),Unfortunately when you have 4 kids it is hard to get there. We go once every 3 months.

I'm 2nd closest then, 3 miles.

For the record, I live about half a mile from a beach.

For the further record, that beach is not much of a beach. Yes, "beach" would technically be the correct term for it but it's about as puny as beaches get.

And there are a lot of people whose general opinion of the water in this part of Lake Ontario would be, "I ain't swimming in that."
