I would hope Dave is among those who are civilized enough to seperate loathing of someone for wishing them dead. Regardless of ones personal views about John or even Kens character what about either of them warrants their death? Virtual demise, financial loss even personal humiliation I could understand but death? Plommer that would be sick even for someone as cynical as you.

Wal, I never knew the guy (Shrink), and am indifferent to him. I don't know why some people think its in poor taste to make fun of a dead guy, especially when its someone I never knew. The dead have no feelings.

Fact is life goes on and his death is trivial in the grand scheme of things.
 
Teamer, I am. I never have been one to seperate myself from the reality of life. the whole "it's just words" "it's just a joke" it's just the internet" thing never worked with me. Not because I take things too literally because I don't, but because I try to respect certain core values in life. While it may be somewhat double standard I think it's understandable to make fun of someone acting stupid as being retarded but I don't think it's cool to mock or make fun of someone who is actually mentally challenged. I can completely be on board with discrediting someone for being a racist moronic acting jerk but in my minds eye it is overboard to wish that same person dead.

I realize this makes me an old fuddy duddy but I am who I was raised to be. I make no apologies for that nor do I expect everyone else to agree with my views or opinions. I do think though that while I am in noway perfect or better than someone else that if more people had better core values in this world it would be a much safer, simpler, peaceful existance.

I didn't know Shrink from Adam. Never interacted with the guy in real life or on the boards. From what I heard/observed, he seemed a little shady, but I'm certainly not glad he's dead. I'm completely unaffected/indifferent, other than the whole double suicide thing, which is pretty interesting.

And no, I don't wish S-faggot-R John a horrible death. Him being alive, dead, rich, poor, happy, or miserable really doesn't affect my life in any way whatsoever, so I really don't give a shit about the guy or what happens to him. I certainly don't wish him well, but I don't sit around the house with voodoo dolls either.

Plommer, I didn't know him either, in fact other than the few threads JJ made about the guy I never heard of him but Plammer if I read somewhere someone had said about you they wished you would die also I would attempt to guilt them too. Course I am a pussy though.

Wally, those that want me dead will eventually get their wish, go ahead and make fun of me after I'm gone, it won't bother me, promise.
 
I don't wanna take over Dave's thread but I will say this Plommer, there is someone out there and probably quit a few that will morn you in the here after. If not then I'll go on record as you're official griever when you're gone.
