nice man

davey Del Taco or In n Out?

I say the odds are

InNOut -250

That's like apples and oranges. One's a burger joint, one's a taco joint (albeit with pretty decent burgers as well).

If I had to choose though, it'd be In N Out. I one time got EXTREMELY sick on Del Taco, and while the doctor tells me it was a harsh flu and not food poisoning, 18 straight hours of puking up Del Taco isn't going to make the place a favorite of yours. Plus, I've always preferred Taco Bell.

After about 3 years, I've come to forgive Del Taco and will eat there again when the situation presents itself. In N Out for sure, though.

Dave, since we know that people from SBR are keeping an eye on this place, were all the various sites divided up between all of you in the office? If so...which site was yours?

It always surprised me how much time some guys in the office spent on other sites. I found it somewhat ironic that one of the reasons for my firing was "not making good use of my time", yet of the two of us, Lou was the one chiming in "Hey, did you see _____ is over at EOG/Peeps/etc now?" I guess I should have done a better job scoping other sites out instead of staying on ours.

(NOTE: I'm not claiming I did more than Lou around there. Just saying this one minor thing was amusing.)

Dave, what exactly does Lou do for SBR? Was Lou educated at University?

Lou helps Bill out with conflict resolution (making calls to books and what not), and he also moderates the board, deals with infractions, etc. Do I believe his workload actually fills out an entire 9-hour day? Not at all.

I never talked to him about his schooling past. According to RogueScholar, he dropped out of high school. I have no reason to believe that is false.

Is shantystar a real person or is he an SBR staff member?

Real, no idea, but he wasn't a ghost that we knew of and we all thought he was awesome.

Dave,

Do you plan on making any posts here at GameLive other than in threads with your name in it?

Fair question. Honestly, I'm trying hard not to fall back into my old ways, which was posting and reading the board 24/7. Considering I'm still unemployed and have no idea what I'm doing with my life, I can't afford to get back into those old habits right now, I have too much to worry about. When (or if?) things settle down a bit, I can start posting more regularly and not feel bad about it, but right now I'm trying not to spend too much time posting.

Therefore, when I do pop on here and skim around, obviously I will respond to stuff talking to me directly because it is, well, talking to me directly. I'll also chime in where I have opinions or something to add. I'm not going to force it or anything in threads I don't have a strong opinion about.

Hopefully this doesn't come off as self-centered or anything.

Dave,

Thank you for the well thought out response. For the record, there was no malice in my question nor was it an attempt to force you to start posting more in other threads. I was just busting your balls. I hope things do settle down for you soon. :hattip:
