Nica style tamales? My wife has never cooked it for me. Our Mexican neighbor makes some killer tamales. What is the difference? Looks delicious by the way.
Raisin???Yes Nica style, this is not easy to make, very few nicas know how to do them. A tamale is usually just the corn dough and maybe a bit of meat like the Cuban ones. This has the corn dough, rice, pork, tomato, bell pepper, culantro, chile, raisin and bacon .
I'm not sure how the process works but I know it's hours of cooking, like 5 or 6 hours
I remember that. Good times!in and out would be my 1 in that list
I once had in and out with Saulty and Matty while driving around listening to tupac
