About that time for everybody to jump on facebook and comment about the out-dated 2nd Amendment, Legislation, and our ridiculous gun laws. Every foreigner points out that we are savages.

:lowrider:

The right to defend yourself is outdated? What baffles me is NYC, for the most part, is a gun-free zone...not sure how this shooting happened in the first place. I'm curious how quickly this would have ended if law abiding citizens were allowed to exercise their 2nd amendment rights (carry a firearm) in NYC?

You mean the ones strapping bombs to their kids?

Or is it this guy from the Norway who got 21 years for killing 77 people?

Police say the gunman was apparently laid off from his job as a designer of women's accessories at Hazan Imports last year.
Clad in a business suit and carrying a briefcase during the exchange, Johnson had a longstanding dispute with the victim over allegations of harassment in the workplace, police said.
Both men had filed prior complaints. But on Friday morning, police say, Johnson fatally shot the 41-year-old man.
The victim was identified as Steven Ercolino by the president of State University of New York at Oneonta, where he was a 1992 graduate.

Targeted shooting.

But the reason why they don't allow law abiding citizens to conceal carry is because (i assume) the State believes that would cause them to go out in public and just start shooting people. They don't issue conceal carry permits yet this man took his gun outside concealed, the law should have prevented this but it didn't. One thing is clear, he knew nobody in that place of business was carrying a weapon. I bet they had one of these posted.

Boner brought up this point. The construction worker witnessed the shooting...BUT even if he had a gun why would he get involved when he has no idea what the ordeal was over?

Thats like watching a gang fight and just randomly getting involved/shooting at some guy.

I miss some aspects.

I miss playing 9 holes with the guys @ 5PM after work and then heading to a local place for some prime rib and beers.

I miss playing courses in the area for free with my Dad.

I do not miss kissing filthy rich people's asses.

I do not miss having a job with here today, gone tommorow type job security.

I sometimes miss being young and having very little responsibility.

Overall, I do not miss that job. Current job is infinitely more rewarding.

Do you miss the bus route (or was that a joke and you never really were a bus driver)?
