We rarely if ever talk about her relationship with him. We spend our time talking about ourselves and our pasts.
She is not using me as a person to gripe to and she isn't using me as an emotional filler.

IMO if she is spending that much time with you and her bf doesn't know about you...that is shady. I don't want to judge her character as I do not know her, but if I were the BF, I would be miffed if I found out my gf was spending that much time with another man without mentioning it. Even if you are just hanging out as friends, it's wrong of her not to tell him. On the other hand, that bodes well for you.

If the bf finds out, chances are she will dump her anyway for being shady and then she's all yours to see where it goes. It's all about the APPEARANCE of impropriety.
