When I said “doesn’t matter” I meant more that social media has made it too easy for lies and propaganda to be considered fact by lazy users.

I think the people that rally behind rumor and falsehoods don’t take the time to actually research what they rally behind or against.

Trump is pretty likely to win at this point, hard to argue against betting on him at current price of -175ish

For value I'd consider betting on Harris now at +450ish before she goes any lower. She's supremely unlikeable and less likely to win, in my opinion, then Gavin Newsom would be.

But dems on a time crunch wont have time to replace Biden with anyone besides her. And last election, Biden won on pure hate for Trump vs his own merits. Since then Trump had the Jan 6 incident, the 34 guilty verdicts. Dems are scared of Project 2025 too.

IF she becomes the candidate and IF half of US still hates Trump passionately enough, she may win just to keep him out. Whereas Biden at this point isn't going to win any independent voters in his clear stupor.

To the MAGA cult, Newsom is synonymous with California. The only thing MAGA's despise more than California is Biden.

Fox News (The Anti-California Cable News Network) worked tirelessly over the last 4-6 years to convince MAGA's that California is a place to be very afraid of and that has manifested into insta-hate of all things California.

I'd like to add that Harris is a TERRIBLE idea for a candidate. I've yet to hear her put 2 intellectual sentences together in the 4 years she's been VP.

We are cooked. I don't see any way that Trump won't get re-elected. His MAGA machine destroyed DeSantis and RFK Jr unfortunately never got any real traction.

Interesting + amusing I think waking up to this. Without question I will give you best weather and probably/most likely best landscape beauty. And I thought you stopped watching that lying news channel years ago? I know hard to do but me still tunes in to CNN and MSNBC for some shit and giggles from time to time. Hard to imagine and even scarier if they believe some of the stuff coming out of their mouths. :highlyamused:
