$100,000 a year with at most 30 years to live would be $3,000,000
let's say the steak is valued at $100, that's $5,200 per year, $156,000 in 30 years
plus the expected inflation, steaks more valuable, the $100k less valuable, that $100k will be about $50k in 30 years and those steaks around $10k
being a vegan I'd be probably have to be very selective of foods and maybe more healthier
but family, sex and eating are the three joys in life the saying goes and here you're giving up on one of them
but then I thought 'is eating really one of the joys in life?', I mean now a days food is entertainment, now a days food is a coping mechanism to emotional and psychical stress in life, but go back a couple hundred years ago or right now to countries with abject poverty and people didn't and don't have the same outlook of food being a joy, where food is and was just a hard necessity to acquire, this outlook we have now has been shaped by the current food industry in the west to levels that are almost vulgar in excess in my opinion without going full reno cool on this, the fact is we could benefit personally health wise and collectively environmental wise to restrict our consumption to more sane levels, maybe our outlook towards food would be different then, maybe these nutty vegans have done some introspective and aren't just all nutty, last year I lost 45 lbs by just basically stop eating, this year I gained 45 lbs by eating whatever, maybe I am emotionally confused but as it is right now though I'd choose the steak
I don't know who Sophie or Luger is but yeah nice morning mental exercise
