Ok maybe I jumped the gun, nice work. Looks like a number of them aren't totally dead though. Google+ isn't a quirky concept like a lot of those though, it's a monster business model that is successful now but has some fatal flaws.

i cant see any other site making a major move on facebook in the near future...facebook will simply add on the newest features and it will be business as usual, imo... so many people have already invested so much time int facebook that changing to something else will be a hugh headache

i don't know ray. people change and adapt far more readily these days, even if it's begrudgingly. also seem to be more followers than anything else in this world. facebook might not completely die, but it could very well become fairly irrelevant in terms of overall internet activity. depends how the technology changes along the way. who knows, even a stubborn old fart like me might one day venture into the world of texting.
