Bell's Oktoberfest

I little light for a Marzen (for me). Clean crisp finish. Not much in the nose. Easy drinking though, so for a tailgate or something, makes a lot of sense.

So far my favorites this season are Spaten and Hacker-Pschorr.

There is a farmer that buys 50 cases of Spaten from one of my accounts so he has it all year..

Good to know about the Bells. We went thru a keg of Big Lake and Founders Octoberfests, Bells is up now.

We have a midnight manhattan recipe that is very popular - Makers, orange bitters, amaro, grand marnier, luxardo cherry liquor and a cherry.

I have. I generally enjoy ryes more than bourbon. I also enjoy a black Manhattan where you substitute Amaro for vermouth. Going to have to try @FairWarning version.

Nice, you're in Colorado now? Absolutely love that state. Been there 5 or 6 times. 2019 was my last visit. Definitely due to make another stop soon. Curious what your favorite parts of the state are. I've been (mostly) everywhere except Southwest corner. Been to Vail, but not Aspen.
