no sir, not yet
they gave me the .40 Taurus today due to a mistake, both were on sale...
I didnt realize it until my brother wanted to look at it, had to make a beeline back to the booth to get what I wanted...

next on the list is a 1911
gotta save a few days for that one though

Not to derail this thread too much but I'd personally rather have a .40 Taurus for the stopping power. I've seen some video of a 9MM not being very effective on a rather large fellow.

Were they the same price?

yep, same price
both were $330ish, model 24-7 ( I think)
I got the 9mm cause of cheaper ammo, at least thats what I was told...
I'm just getting into firearms after being raised around them my whole life. was taught at a young age how to shoot and respect a gun but never really started a collection untill recently.

hopefully never have to use it in self defense but with 17 in the clip I doubt there'd be much difference in a .40 and 9mm on the recieving end if they all hit the mark

Enjoy your new gun mike

I've been using guns for a long time. You'll find your tastes change as you become more exposed to different options.

I will leave you with this advice: In a live fire fight (while it's unlikely you'll ever find yourself in one) most rounds miss their mark so it's nice to have a lot of stopping power in the rounds that do land where intended.

and

when you go to a gun store/gun range, call it a magazine not a clip. the kiddies and the thugs call them clips.

and last but not least, get a carry-concealed license. it's well worth the piece of mind when you've got your children with you in a shifty place

To bring this thread back around, I will be moving to Makers in about an hour to wash this wine down

Kato, for lunch we had McD's third pounders with fries. Peanut had 6 nuggets and cheeseburger. Dinner included half price supermarket pepp. pizza and drinking Stella now.

Kato, the menu looks exotic. What exactly did you have from the menu? Yummy!

oh shit...peanut must be big now

had the gougeres and the torte for the app

megan had the chicken

i had my heart set on the marrow (sold out) and moules frites (sold out)

got the sole special with a crab cream sauce and Brussels Spouts with bacon and grapes

yum

nothing wrong with mcdonalds, this place is awesome because it is farm to table, but it is a once in 3 month place

way rich
