Not a schooled economist, but first time I have ever heard that combating price gouging would help stop inflation. :wah:

So our entire country's consumers are being hit with crazy high prices on goods and services possibly because they are being priced gouged? I always thought price gouging was during natural disasters like example generators sold at a high cost during hurricanes, tornados. etc etc.

I have to give it to whoever is advising Harris to at least give some proposals on what she will do when elected Pres. Back to CB's "famous quote" on who will welcome them. :rolleyess:

Reminds me of Camden NJ situation but much MUCH bigger scale which I posted here (I believe?) in detail.
In 2013, then Gov. Chris Christie ordered a state takeover of the troubled Camden school system, citing poor test scores, a high dropout rate and a low graduation rate. The district has been run by the state for nearly 11 years. The Camden Renaissance school program started in 2014.

In no world is Kamala the best the Democrats have. It's not even remotely close. She hasn't accomplished anything.

I don't believe it was organic. I mostly agree with @Boner_18 's last two posts. It's all sketchy.

But you realize everyone is lying to you too, right? The idea that the Republican party or Fox News is a beacon of truth vs the mainstream media is laughable.

They ALL lie. They are ALL for profit.

I can see this for the farce it all is. It's ALL a joke. Anyone championing one side or the other is drinking the kool-aid.

You should vote R or D based on which better aligns with your views and priorities. It's a two party system, you have a vote, use it how you see fit.

But you should know by now that vote is essentially meaningless. The whole system is a big fat corporate joke. No matter who wins, they aren't in this for your best interests.

Biden was far easier to beat, he’s senile. We’ll know if Kamala is cut out for the job after the debate.

It’s hard to trust the process when you are fed BS, then revisions and corrections appear long after. We can point to Bidenomics this week and a revised job report that greatly overstated the number of created jobs. Maybe the party of hope will expand on this tonight.

Yes, exactly this. THIS is why people are angry she was "chosen without a vote".

In reality, she was the only logical choice after the presumptive nominee dropped out after the primaries. The people did vote for her as second choice, on the ticket as VP when they elected Biden in 2020.

Obviously the whole thing is bizarre/unprecedented, but it would have been far more shady if they made someone who wasn't VP the new nominee.

He didn’t resign, they basically stripped him. A court said he wasn’t fit for trial, yet D talking heads sold the voters that he was perfectly fine to lead the free world. There are processes to replace him, Pelosi and the crew didn’t perform them.

Considering how much backlash and "coup" complaints the party has received from simply pressuring him not to run for re-election, I can't imagine what the backlash would have looked like if they ACTUALLY stripped him or performed these "processes to replace him".
