I already had a feeling she might win purely being the not-Biden candidate to face Trump, but she's actually doing a lot better than I expected in getting young people excited about her. She's got a handful of trending memes on TikTok, crushing Trump in the polls among Gen Z, etc.

It'll be close and just come down to a few key states per usual, but if she can get young people to show up and vote for her (which so far she seems to be cultivating well), she'll win.

Again, being a business owner, I come from a bit of a different perspective than most. I don't think "looting businesses that had ZERO to do with whatever happened with George Floyd" is or ever could be relevant.

Maybe someone can explain it, but I kinda doubt they could make a logical argument. It would be steeped in emotion. As always...
There is no logical explanation from any rational thinking person. It was just for personal gain like always. The monetary destruction amount that could have easily been avoided! Those people looting was focused on personal gain. It's really part of socialism with them taking it into their own hands. Lots of people work hard to get ahead and then some people who sit on a bench doing very little, feel deserving their share.

Trump -115
Laughin Kamala -105

Laughin Kamala was +110 before the VP selection
Trump calling off the Sept 10 debate, as has been mentioned in this thread, was also a huge blunder.

Kamala's camp has been able to turn it into a "he's scared" talking point.

Now she has all the momentum and he is doing nothing to generate votes outside of his camp. Strong debate performance(s) could help with that, but he looks scared for calling it off OR indecisive if he decides it's on again. Oops.

Walz pick surprised me to the least! Really thought Shapiro was the best choice for a Harris win. Research into him and felt like was a choice a conservative thinking person could feel happier having as VP. Shapiro vs Walz and Kamala asmart lady knowing Shapiro could easily outshine here and people thinking, maybe they could switch positions lol. Walz less of a threat.

Quickly summarizing .....
1) Walz's resume is just as radical left as Harris if not possibly more.
2) APPEARS Harris going all-in patronizing to the radical left of the Dem party.
3)Thinking lot more radical, crazy left votes to get than those of the sensible thinking Jewish population.
4) Poor Shapiro though maybe feeling lucky thinking he can distance himself down the road from her for future elections.
5) No question a LEFT vs RIGHT battle emerges.

That's what I don't get strategy wise. He already has his base. His base is not going to change their votes, those are in the bag already. The money is in getting the new blood. That's what the Democrats are doing going after the Tiktok generation fooling a whole new set of voters.

Trump's best strategy would be to act rational not radical. Sowing the doubt that people have of him. A couple of months back Dr Phil did an excellent interview with him. Dr Phil manage the pace and topics and presented the questions well and Trump ace it. He really came out looking sensible in that piece. He's very well capable to do it.

His campaign handlers are blundering this.

He didn't shift towards the center in 2016 though, either. He seems committed to doing things "his way".

It's definitely an odd strategy. Especially against a weak and unpopular opponent.
