I think this was the very first record (single) I ever bought, back in the 70's as a kid in Toronto.

It was a 45rpm record I bought at the record store in Albion Mall.

dont remember the first, but remember cutting grass every week of summer and spending all the money on cassettes when paid...
some that come to mind in no order:
DRI
Dead Kennedy's
Descendants
Poison
GNR
Fat Boys
MJ Thriller ( remember putting the boom box out by the swing set and getting down to Billy Jean)
AC/DC Who Made Who

Easy E,
took this cassette to my drum lesson. my teacher would let me bring in a song every week and at the end of the lesson he would try and show/teach me how to play it

I don't care what anyone says................Thriller was a bad ass album. Dude just GOT DOWN on Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller
Daft, as a teenager I was definitely not a fan of MJ but I remember rushing home after school to see his Thriller video on TV the first time it was aired back in the early 80's. It was a big event.

I liked the video.

close enough...
in about 4th or 5th grade I was doing my MJ dance when the teacher left the room... she came back in and caught me.
she made me get in front of the class and perform the MJ....moonwalk and all
still got scars from that one
