first lp i bought was the royal guardsmen's snoopy and the red baron when i was 13. have no idea about the others, believe the first 8-track was john elton's madman across the water, one of my favorite records ever.

Michael Jackson Thriller Record

went in halfsies with my sister. I think I was in first grade and she bilked me out of my birthday money, so she could listen to it


I liked to listen to the "the girl is mine" song with paul mccartney, but the record player was in her room. and I wasn't good at being able to find the different songs on the record.

Interestingly enough, I used to play tennis (yes tennis) in the garage against the wall by myself to the Thriller record.

I always won, which was nice.
