I've heard this from others as well, apparently Costa Rica is full of Colombian women looking to earn much more than they could back home.
Colombia is said to be a bargain, as long as you don't sire offspring while there.

It's changing plom, the dumb gringos are here remarking how much better it is than Costa Rica. You want to fuck a hardened 28 year old colombian hooker in costa rica that wants $100 for an hour, or you you want to fuck her 18 year old sister for $40 in colombia?

Even ignoring the stupid hookerst, it's still way better. Better weather, safer (believe it or not). Medellin is a nice city, san jose is a fucking dump.

I'm quite aware of Colombia, all second hand information of course but the info is consistent from everyone I've talked to.

Fuck me, its cold. Had to go shopping for winter clothes. Canadian Tire has a huge selection of winter boots, snomobile suits and coats, way more than Canadian Tire stores back east.

I bought some ear warmers, boots, mitts and pants so i won't freeze my balls off.
Toronto is not cold compared to here.

It's changed a shitload. Of course I don't leave my fucking apartment except with mrs. durito, so i don't really care or know.

For random comparisons, there are now 43 backpackers hostels in Medellin. When i "backpacked" through south america 7 years ago, there was one. And they had a bed for me when I showed up at 1am during the biggest party week of the year.
