I learned that the internet has conditioned me to believe that any image imaginable is available upon request.

I was very disappointed to not find a depiction of the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve portrayed as kittens.

What the fuck, internet? You're useless!

What's the "original breeding?"

Is that like Adam-kitty and Eve-kitty?
I should have said original cross- breeding... More specifically (from Wiki)

After three generations from the original crossing, the breed usually acquires a gentle domestic cat temperament;[1] however, for the typical pet owner, a Bengal cat kept as a pet should be at least four generations (F4) removed from the leopard cat. The so-called "foundation cats" from the first three filial generations of breeding (F1–F3) are usually reserved for breeding purposes or the specialty pet home environment

They added plastic bits to Tonka trucks. The plow thingie is plastic. Lame.

The meaning of the word effete. I don't think I have ever heard this word in a sentence which is a pretty rare occurrence. Thanks Matty. I'm going to throw this into my regular vocabulary. It's looks a lot like "f it" which is cool.

I learned that when wine-tasting connoisseur type folk talk about different tastes and aromas within a wine - like I hear people talking about oak or apricot or black pepper or WHATEVER - they are being metaphorical. They are not identifying actual stuff that goes into the production/storage. They are just trying to find some apt comparison that allows them to verbalize subtle things they notice..

Did not know that.

Of course when I drank wine the primary consideration was the size of the bottle. i.e. - extra large or extra extra large. Identifying a faint soupcon of asparagus was not a priority.

Cami only describes wine in four manners - like or don't like, sweet or too bitter. that's about it. I don't care about identifying the subtle taste or hints of things, it's just quite as simple as I either like it, or I don't.

One should not put air in the tires of one's car based on the number you find on the tire itself. That is a max pressure and is probably too much. The number you go with - in the case of my car anyway - is on a sticker in the doorframe of the driver's door.

Like you open that door and there is a sticker in there with some data including optimum tire pressure.

I was using the number on the tires and inflating to 40 PSI, but the recommended number is 30.

Quite a difference.

I guess the other thing I learned is that my tires are not leaky at all because it must be many months ago that I last over-inflated them - but they were still right at that pressure when dudeguy checked today.
