nah, nothing serious...we just like to overshare here at GL :highfive: ... not krazykorean, she and i dont speak and unfortunately, the little korean is the one that really gets the ass end of that deal...

i miss hanging with viet ex, her little girl and all our friends... she just called me the other day to see if i wanted to hang out with all them...its always a good time and i go whenever she asks me... i wouldnt go unless she asked...her friends ask me to come hang out all the time, but its just weird unless yen asks.

the viet community is small and they go out of their way to try and forgive each other for wrong doings(neither of us did anything wrong, fwiw..just didnt work) ... prime example, husbands cheat and they get divorces and both end up dating their ex's best friends and all of them hang out, etc... now, to you and me, that sounds completely fucked up and something we would never do, but they do it so that the community can stick together...so when some of her friends found out i was coming to hang out tomorrow they all text me and were real excited and stuff...nobody has hard feelings about us not working out and we all stay friends....

i dated an asian for about 6 years and it was purely by luck that i met the korean right after that break up and she and i dated...its then that i kind of got labeled as one of those guys who "only dates asians" .. its really not true, but physically i do prefer them...:betplom: ... by then, i had met and hung with so many other asians, that they were the majority of my friends that i would hang out with...was inevitable that i would date more of them

Well that explains it. I saw your other post, glad you had a good night out with her and your friends. I think it's cool you guys are able to remain friends and hang out as just friends, with no leftovers. I don't know if I could do that, or would be ok with someone I am dating doing that, I guess for me, it would depend on the situation. Props to you though, that is very cool.

Wouldn't you have to do some re-wireing first?

No the wiring is easy. I need to install a new electrical box with a ceiling fan brace that can hold the fan because the existing one is only good for lights. I did the wiring for the fan by myself and the fan and lights work. It's just wobbly because it's heavy and it pushed the old electrical box through the hole.

the fan didnt come with the brace for it? most do that I've seen.
Why cant you use the same box then screw brace into joist.
The trim piece for the fan will cover the brace and box
