This thread has many interesting twists.

Anyone interested in gambling and marketing might find this interesting:

I want business's that make 30k a month and involve me doing nothing (or really I'm happy work all the time).

This guy looks like he is the ultimate advantage gambler/shrewd businessman. But then he starts talking about his personal life:

I'm lucky enough to have enough money now (and including sales of businesses) to probably retire and life comfortably. All I really need is some land and seeds, but what would I do then? There's only a small number of movies to take up my time, I've grown tired of video games, hate traveling (scared of flying), no family and friends, can only troll sporting events for so long, TV doesn't interest me.

I would just end up sitting and staring. My only real goal in life is something I'm actually working on. I bought 2700 acres of land with a huge man made lake in Montana and my plan is to construct a "town of wax" a la the movie House of Wax and live in there when I retire. I estimate it will cost approximately 5 million or so, but I think it's a good investment. Currently I am working through the plans as I plan to build most of it myself (figure it'll take 2-3 years) and I think it is do-able. I'm not going to go overboard and make the buildings out of wax, but most things inside like people will. Convenience store, working movie theater, church, maybe an auto repair store, things like that.

Just kind of build a small community on the lake, but everyone will be made of wax.

:wah:

Still a good read.

That convinced me to keep reading. I did the first two pages which was interesting although uneventful but I'm going to restart after this.

His life will NOT end well.

The "salad pill" story is also neat. From the looks of it, you just need to be the first to market some garbage - you make some money out of gullible consumers then you sell the business to a gullible aspiring businessman just before the income potential is all used up.

I mean wow.

I suddenly want Brock Landers to get his extra grand back.
