Sure, sure, but there's only so much you can do before the quality of the content itself takes over and the referencing/linking snowballs naturally by way of people recognizing its value.

Pretty much, im back to where I started.

I ask cause my first site i was able to build big in no time, and I was able to sell it for a pretty penny, but this one, is lagging and taking forever, I thought maybe all search engines started something new

I am going to try something here...

Write up a story thats the hottest thing right now, not even going to be sports related. Add it to digg.com and see what happens...If it gets traffic like crazy, Sports is not the answer for websites anymore..if it doesnt do shit, there is something missing big time here..

I know what you mean - this forum was worth $25 back in January, it was north of $32 at the end of June.
I'd give you $33 for it anytime.

I see your alexa ranking is 422,240
Thats what my last site was about, but apparently Alexa ranking dosent mean shit anymore as I am told (sorry for the language)
What language? Shit?

Pal, you can't fucking be serious, the cunts here at Gamelive say much worse than that and get away with it.

Alexa rankings are generally irrelevant for the less busy sites - you get a high percentage of people with the Alexa toolbar and you'll shoot up the rankings, you have nobody with it you'll have a really low ranking. It's a really bad metric and can be manipulated so easily to make it worthless - you really should pay little attention to it.

And mind your language.

I use the toolbar to increase my rankings, i actually had a DL for it on my last website, and 15 days later my ranking just got better and better each day. Then I realized, ok this is Alexa's way of just getting people to use there stuff to help them increase. Having a toolbar from them to help increase a ranking with them, just makes no sense...

This is an interesting topic since for some reason I spent half the day reading about affiliate and internet marketing.

Not sure why, other than perhaps a fear of working at Taco Bell when this gambling thing dries up.
