Just got back from the police station.

I have not been charged with anything and won't be.

gotta admit I was nervous, only because of the "sexual assault" label of the complaint.

Cops were straight up with me as I was with them, they let me wait in the waiting room and only had to cuff me while I was in the police car as its standard policy.

I was 100% co-operative and truthful and it paid off, they know she was lying, mainly because of the fact I was at a drive thru atm (RBC) next to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Memorial drive and she was sitting in the passenger seat and this was all on camera.

I got some good news while on the phone with the legal aid lawyer, when I told him of the allegations he asked me who the victim was and I said I didn't know, he asked to speak to the cop and when the cop came back he told me that the lawyer couldn't help me because he has represented her in the past. That made me feel ALOT better knowing she has been involved with the police and is a known street walker.

They told me that they had to complete a full investigation to avoid a complaint against them by the "victim".

What a cunt. A sexual assault claim can be alot of trouble for a defendant - it's a horrible thing to do to someone. Really.

Glad you guys had some fun with it, it was no fun for the last 4 hours but in the end no real harm was done.

Oxy, thanks for your offers pal. I may get a few speeding tickets on my way out of here in the morning.

I believe so, yes. They wouldn't tell me specifics but when I asked the question "generally speaking" when someone is found to have made a false complaint what is the procedure they said they will charge the person.

There was alot of time wasted tonight, 4 fucking uniform cops showed up and two detectives with the sex assault squad all for a bullshit claim.

Plommer doesn't have a mean bone in his body, he is just a fuckup - he would NEVER instigate a physical altercation, he only responds.

No, but it sure sped things up!

These guys were not rookies and I didn't treat them with any disrespect whatsoever, by that I mean I was 100% truthful about why I was at that location and that this wasn't the first time I've done this, these guys aren't idiots and I wouldn't insult their intelligence by bullshitting them.

Plommer, def sucks that you had to lose a whole night to a lame accusation. With that said, this type of "activity" can unfortunately put you in a tough spot.

Unfortunately, in the same way they have no probable cause to arrest you for sexual battery, they have no probable cause to arrest her for filing a false report as there are no independant witnesesses (or surveillance video) that would show that you did not touch her against her will.

Yeah, they wouldn't be specific about laying charges and I don't care if they do or not, I have no bad feelings for the broad personally - I am truly saddened that there are people so miserable and fucked up that would make a false claim of sex assault as a way of punishing someone they are mad at.

I am glad I stuck to my guns though, I won't be bullied or extorted, it's not in my nature.

PS: Every single fucking cop I dealt with was nothing less than very professional and courteous towards me for the entire time I was in their company. I think it helped that I was very candid an honest (like the way I am here at gamelive) and they appreciated my sincerity and co-operation.

Meanwhile, I believe my Cleveland/Texas OVER 9.5 was a loser.

They have to hedge against the "The Police don't investigate serious allegations in an appropriate manner" allegation. Sexual battery is a serious crime (in no way implying that Plommer sexually battered anyone) but just illustrating that it's a complaint that gets the full "massage" treatment. This isn't a "zomg, someone stole my bike" kind of case.

I could have gotten the jist of your post wrong so apologies if I did.

Yes, this was definitely the case here. These guys were saying I had nothing to worry about the whole time but until they said I was free to go I wasn't 100% sure I'd be getting out of there.

My biggest fear wasn't being charged, 'cause I knew it wasn't true, my fear was being in custody with a sex assault tag on my sheet and having to be put in protective custody (it's automatic for people charged with sex charges - you have to sign a waiver to go into general population, then get your teeth knocked out). As someone that has spent a little time in a provincial institution I'm well aware of what happens to people charged with sexual related offences and the problems guys have in jail because of it, THAT was my fear.

Having spent a few months in the joint is not something I'm proud of, but I was always in general population and not "one of those guys" in protective custody.

Of course, and so it should get the full treatment. My point was that due to the excessive use of manpower, the cops would do something to make sure she didn't pull the same trick every other day.
