but I could've made sure that he got a great lawyer for free if he needed one and at least let them know that he was a friend so hopefully that would stop them from treating him like a piece of shit while he was in their custody. A lot of times in a small town it's a matter of just having someone vouch for you that determines how you're treated.

not sure if it's still the case there but i know they weren't always the most gentle or necessarily fairest to people suspected of committing any kind of abuse towards women

well any pull would really be because of my parents although a few of my friends are police including one who is the son of the chief who just retired

but yeah it's just like any small place i guess - so weird how things still work that way in 2011

a big part of why i was flipping out was at the thought of him going through this in a place where he knew no one and by fluke that just happens to be where i lived for 25 years so i knew i could at least try to make things easier from him. Not too often I come across people who have ever visited the place let alone find themselves in a spot of a trouble there.

i talked to a friend tonight from TBay after i saw Plommer's update and he said he's actually very surprised at how this turned out. He thought that either Plommy hit the cop lottery or the chick must be a complete psycho because as a non local, he would've guessed that his experience would've been much more unpleasant than it actually turned out to be.

This doesn't look like the typical place to find hookers but trust me if you are on this street anytime from 6pm to 3am there will be available girls.

Here is the exact spot where I picked up the broad that falsely accused me.

Court St. They sit on the steps of this place pretending to be waiting for the bus.

It was an adventure but I always stop over in Thunder Bay on my way to locations in Western Canada, plenny of inexpensive hookers and cheap thrills.
